Ricci Band Rehearsal Hall
The Ricci Band Rehearsal Hall, located next to the Jordan Hall of Science, is the home of the Notre Dame Bands. One of the finest music facilities in the country, it was built in 1990 and contains three large rehearsal rooms, nine sound-proof practice rooms, staff and student offices, instrument lockers, uniform and equipment storage, and a music technology lab. In addition to band rehearsals, the Band staff teaches several courses in the Ricci Band Rehearsal Hall including Wind & Percussion Techniques, Music Through Technology, Music & the Olympics, Introduction to Jazz, and Jazz Improvization.
Ricci Family Fields
The Ricci Family Fields are located directly east of the Stepan Center on the north side of campus and consist of two full size football fields identical to the field inside Notre Dame Stadium. The Band recieves priority scheduling and uses the fields for every marching band rehearsal (weather permitting).
Marie P. DeBartolo Center for the Performing Arts
The Concert and Jazz Bands perform most of their concerts in the Judd and May Lou Leighton Concert Hall in the Judd and May Lou Leighton Concert Hall in the DeBartolo Center for the Performing Arts. This facility is designed with adjustable acoustics, making every size group sound outstanding on its stage. In addition to Band concerts, DPAC also hosts several different concert series and contains the Reyes Organ Recital Hall, Decio Main Stage Theatre, and the Philbin Black Box Theatre.
